Joining the other 80,000 per day

Eighty thousand per day -- not bloggers, not blog readers, but new blogs being created. I must be crazy to join them.
Who would read all those blogs? Who has that kind of time? And who writes something so important that it should be read by so many?
Well, I know a few writers who do write such things that ought to be read by the masses. I don't. So this won't be that kind of blog. Sorry.
